We have an amazing resource in our community. His name is Avram Mandell and he has been working with our staff and professional team for the past two years. He not only brings fun and joy to your staff trainings, he takes the time to customize his program to meet the needs of your team. He is not merely playing games with your staff he is teaching communication skills that can be used throughout the year. I highly recommend that you bring him to work with your professional team or entire staff. We have and we’re going to be bringing him back again.

Avram came to work with our school during our teacher orientation and ALL of the teachers enjoyed it. His positive energy and lessons even carried over to the following day when I saw some of the teachers in the school. Avram is really talented and gave the teachers energy and tools to get started on the year in a positive way.

Learning with Avram Mandell was a very good use of my school staff’s time. We had a great time while processing what we just did. He was very considerate of everyone’s needs and comfort level. He provided great ideas to work with different age groups and various curricular topics. We worked in a very relaxed and easy going atmosphere. It did not feel like work, and yet a lot was accomplished."

Avram did a great job creating a positive framework for social interaction among the staff and set a collaborative tone for the school year. He is super active and engaging and gave great ideas for how to enliven the classroom while simultaneously acting himself as a model of classroom dynamism. His accepting and accommodating attitude when people were resisting him was especially influential. I took his lessons to heart, both in the classroom and in my interactions with the staff.

Avram Mandell has the unique ability to get anyone and everyone – even those who “refuse” to participate –to join in the team building exercises. He has a presence that says – “Trust me– it’s ok. You can do this!” - that makes you believe in what he is trying to accomplish. And to be able to do so with any type of group – adults who are all in positions of leadership - and with kids who are just developing as leaders - is quite a feat. Avram is a wonderful resource!

50 directors and staff gathered together for a international conference for "The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning.
Through fun games, Avram creates an environment where people immediately let their guard down. And the Melton conference was no exception. Within minutes, Avram helped each member of our group not only feel comfortable and laugh, but also think about our place within the larger community. We did several different activities in the hour and a half we spent together. Some activities were with the large group and others were in small groups; some were quiet and some were loud; some were simple and others were more complicated.
Each activity ended with a reflection.
Our Melton CEO, Judy Mars Kupchan, sent me a beautiful thank you note and thanked me for inviting Avram to our conference. The language we developed during the games served us throughout the conference and beyond. I would be more than happy to talk further with anyone who is considering bringing Avram to an event. He is such a gift!"

Avram is one of the most creative educators I know. For several years I have used him to bring team building through text study to the teachers at my Religious School. Every year Avram continues to inspire our teachers with the way he integrates fun and engaging team building games with the Torah portion of the week or a text from Pirke Avot.He is a true gem in our community
not only in what he provides in facilitating these learning activities, but in modeling for educators how they can fill their lesson planning with enthusiasm and excitement.

Last night was just what we needed and we were very brave to allow ourselves the experience. Yay us! I can't imagine a better facilitator. He was perfect!

Thanks for a meaningful and thought provoking evening. We all walked away feeling more connected to each other. We have a lot of work to do, but having some tools will hopefully keep us on target. It was the shot in the arm that we needed. Thank you.

Our Temple Beth Hillel Religious School high school students were in for a treat, when Avram Mandell helped in leading a
Shabbat Morning drumming service. He captivated their attention and focused their energy so that they were praying with ruach and kavana. Not only did the drumming help our students to connect to tefillah in an alternative style, but it allowed them to work together as a team as they prayed and drummed cohesively.

From my first conversation with Avram, I knew I was speaking with and learning from someone who sees the world through a unique lens. Avram approaches every educational setting with his characteristic wit, wisdom, caring, and compassion. I have seen Avram incorporate Jewish texts into team building activities and inspire even the most seasoned of educators.
